CCSID Property (controls)

Gets or sets the Coded Character Set Identifier (CCSID), which defines the control's code page and character set.

Where object is an object expression that evaluates to one of the controls in the Applies To list, and integer is a valid CCSID number.

Use

The CCSIDs available on a particular system may vary, depending upon the Windows version under which Newlook is running and the language support installed on the system.

Tip

When Arabic or Hebrew code pages are specified in the CCSID of the connection definition, then the client will automatically switch to right-to-left mode for any entry capable fields. In addition, default text alignment and direction is reversed.
