Smartclient & Runtime client menus

The Newlook Smartclient and Newlook Developer runtime client menus provides access to file actions, editing options and additional tools.

Menu Command	Keyboard Command	Description
Open	Ctrl+O	Open either a Host file (.nl) or Host batch file (.nll). Refer to Working with nl files for more information.
Close		Close the currently open .nl or.nll file. This option is only available when when an .nl or .nll file is loaded.
Save	Ctrl+S	Save the current screen as a Host (.nl) file.
Print	Ctrl+P	Print the current screen (in Emulator mode the screen is printed as text, in GUI mode the screen is printed as an image).
Recent Files		List all recently opened host (.nl) files. Click on a file to open it.
Exit		Shutdown Newlook Smartclient.

Menu Command	Keyboard Command	Description
Connect		Open connection select panel. From here you can connect to an existing connection definition or add, duplicate, remove and modify a connection in your user repository. Note that the add, remove, duplicate and properties options are not available for connections stored in the shared repository, and are only available for user connections if the user policies have been enabled in developer.
Disconnect		Disconnect the current connection.

Menu Command	Keyboard Command	Description
Undo	Ctrl+Z	Undo the last action in Newlook Smartclient.
Redo	Ctrl+Y	Redo the last action reversed by the undo command.
Cut	Ctrl+X	Remove the selected item and store it in the clipboard.
Copy	Ctrl+C	Copy the selected item to the clipboard
Paste	Ctrl+V	Paste the most recent item in the clipboard.
Delete	Del	Delete the selected item.
Select All	Ctrl+A	Select all items on the screen.

Menu Command	Keyboard Command	Description
Emulator	Ctrl+E	Toggle between the graphically enabled view (default) and Emulator view.
Default Size		Reset the window to the default size.

The Tools menu is only available in the Newlook Developer runtime client

Menu Command	Keyboard Command	Description
Design	Ctrl+D	Open the current screen in Designer. If an override exists that matches this screen, then you will be asked if you want to open it or create a new override.
Identify	Ctrl+I	Open the current screen in Identify. If an override exists that matches this screen, then you will be asked if you want to open it or create a new override.
Transaction Recorder	Ctrl+X	Launch the Transaction Recorder.
Inspector	Ctrl+Shift+I	Open Inspector. This tool allows you to monitor the value of properties, expressions and/or variables while stepping through lines of your macro/script or navigating through your application.

Start Macro		Open the run macro tool, which allows you to run any saved macro that is not available from the macros menu.
<macro name>		Run any macros that have been enabled for the Newlook Smartclient interface.
