Shared Repository |
The shared repository, also known as the shared sid file, contains all the Rules, Forms, Logic (Macros and Scripts) and Connections that have been created for your solution. A shared repository cannot be changed by Newlook Smartclient users. You can create as many different shared repository files as you need but only one shared repository can be assigned to a solution. |
User repository |
The user repository, also known as the user SID file, is used to store user-specific connections. The ability for users to create connections and save them in the user repository is dictated by the user access policies specified in the shared repository. |
Note that all relative paths in Newlook are relative to the Newlook Solutions folder, which unless you have specified an alternate data path, will be C:\ProgramData\Newlook 11.1.

With concurrent user-based licensing, each client uses one license, regardless of the number of sessions established. If a common password is not specified here you will be prompted to enter one whenever a connection definition that does not provide one, within the definition itself, is used to start a display session. When the password cache is disabled (in User Access Policies in Rules), you are always required to provide a password for this type of connection.
