Identifying Screen Elements

Identifying refers to the process of re-categorizing screen elements that have been incorrectly recognized by Newlook's Dynamic Recognition Engine.

To re-categorize a field category:

Open the relevant screen in Identify (). For information on confirming the screen ID, click here.
Hovering over an element in Identify will display its recognized category (the category that the recognition engine has assigned to the field).
Right-click the screen element you want to re-categorize.
Select the relevant category from the context menu. This menu contains all of the available screen element categories that Newlook supports .
Once selected, you will notice that the field is displayed with a background color and the icon and text on the tool tip has been modified. It will now display the identified category of the field (the category that the field has been manually set to).
Close and save the override. For information on save options, click here.
To revert a field back to its default recognized category, select it and hit Delete.
