Selecting
Screen Elements
In Identify, you can use the following keyboard and mouse
actions to select screen elements:
- Left-click
- Remove existing selections and select the character at the clicked row/column.
- Drag+left-click
- Expands the selection rectangle in the direction of the mouse movement.
- Double-click
- Remove existing selections and select the entire field that surrounds
the clicked row/column.
- Right-click
- If the row/column which has been clicked is not selected, then all existing
selections are removed and the entire field surrounding the clicked row/column
is selected. If the area clicked was already selected, then all existing
selections remain unchanged. The Identify context menu is automatically displayed to allow you
to identify the field within the selection rectangle.
- CTRL+ Drag + left-click
- Select multiple fields on the screen.
Any option you choose from the context menu will apply to all selected areas on the screen.

have a border drawn around them.
