OnNext Property

Sets or gets the name of the macro/script to run when the Next event occurs.

object.OnNext = [string]

Where object is an object expression that evaluates to one of the controls in the Applies To list, and string is a string expression specifying the script or macro to run when the Next event is triggered.

Use

Use this property to run a macro/script when the user initiates the following tasks in the Data control.

• BOF - clicks the beginning of file button or tries to navigate to a position that is before the first record in the Recordset object.
• EOF - clicks the end of file button or tries to navigate to a position that is after the last record in the Recordset object.
• Next - clicks the next button or navigates to the next record in the Recordset object.
• Previous - clicks the previous button or navigates to the previous record in the Recordset object.

This event occurs prior to the Change event for the control.
