This tool allows
you to easily record navigation through an application to record a test
case. The test will monitor recognition of the screen and save each screen
as an NL file.
Obsolete - this feature is obsolete from version 11.0 onwards.
The Test
Player allows you to replay the test against the same screens as
originally recorded and will report back any screens that have changed
from the original recording.
The Test
Recorder/Player is ideal for testing changes and seeing what impact
those changes will have. For example, you could modify a filter and then
be able to check what screens are affected by that filter. Other uses
include:
- Seeing
what impact global override changes will have.
- Identifying
any screens affected
In situations where the purposes
of a filter or override is unknown, the Test Recorder/Player can be used
to easily identify what screens the customization is applying to, within
an application.
