Macro Property

Returns the name of the macro in which the run-time error occurred. Read-only.

object.Macro as String

Use

This property is useful if you are running a macro and you want to catch any run-time errors and return the name of the macro that was executing when the error occurred.

It should be used in conjunction with the OnError action. This action sets an error handler label. Macro execution will skip to this label within the macro if a run-time error occurs. The Macro property can then be used to return the name of the macro that was executing when the error occurred.

TIP!

The action, description, line, macro and number properties can all be used with the Err object to return more information about the run-time error that has been generated.
