LinkTimeout Property

Gets or sets the amount of time, in deciseconds, that Newlook waits for a response from a DDE transaction.

object.LinkTimeout as Integer

Note

By default, the LinkTimeout property is set to 100 (10 seconds).

DDE response times vary depending on the source application.

If you find that a given source application is regularly timing out due to lengthy response time, you can use this property to extend the amount of time newlook will wait for a response.
